University of San Francisco

Class of 2014

  • B.A., Design
  • 2012-2014 Dean's Honor Roll

Ian Pollock

New Media Educator / Artist

“I had the pleasure of having Matt as a student in my class at USF. Matt was a highly self-motivated and self-learning individual who brought a lot of enthusiasm and skill to the class. During the course of my class, Matt pushed his skills far beyond where he started and the requirements of the course, asked meaningful questions, and made himself available as a tutor to other students, sometimes at the expense of his own work. Matt excelled at every level and rose to every challenge in this class and I am confident that he would succeed and add value to any project he choses to apply himself to.”

Leif Nygaard

Senior Product Manager

“I've been working with Matt for only four months, but in that time he's demonstrated exceptional skills. Matt is unique in his ability to thrive in an Agile development environment, which is often challenging for UX designers. He spreads his time between multiple projects and is able to juggle competing priorities with ease. Most recently, I asked Matt to conceptualize a full UX redesign and he delivered a functional prototype well ahead of, and above, my expectations. Matt would be a valuable addition to any organization in need of UX/UI expertise.”
